A380 vs 747 vs Spruce Goose
I've always wondered how the 747 and the A380 look next to each other. Does a photograph with the two giants exist? Maybe a rendering with the two versus the Spruce Goose?

Damn! :ack:

That is a cool graphic. I like the boat one too.
Would've been cool to see the C-5 in that graphic too, but still way cool.
^^^I wondered about that too. How would large military transports fit into that diagram?
the An-225 is the biggest military transport out there. The C-5 is slightly smaller while a c-130 would be completely dwarfed.
Thanks! I wasn't sure what the An-225 was exactly, but assumed it was Russian and possibly a transport.
It's a, now Ukrainian, Soviet transporter built for their space shuttle program. It has carried the only Buran built on its back. iirc there's a couple more An.225 airframes from the 80s that might be completed now that the profits are going ok. Tho that was before the current hike in oil-prices.
does the an-225 still hold the record for the greatest lifting capacity of any aircraft ever built, or has the A380 taken that title away?

^
Yes, it does. |

Can anyone confirm that??? |
