Playground Architecture

I got a bit nostalgic today and researched different kinds of playgrounds in my area and in others. Whether they are outdoor or in, in a famous city park or standing alone in someone's backyard, kids just like to be in them. Was really the first kind of architecture I like and even they are getting modern designs.

Here are a few in different locations.

Kodomo no Kuni (Children's Land) in Tokyo

And lastly, Fort Greene Playground in Brooklyn, NY

I think Hudson Yards will include a playground as well, and it will be modern.

This thread could be interesting. Don't really have many good playgrounds where I live but I might take a few pictures and post them.

Of all the playgrounds I've seen in the East Coast, I think NYC has some pretty interesting ones.

That's the park I take my daughter to at least once a week.

Here is our biggest playground at Bellevue Park in Sault Ste. Marie.

Old steam train from Algoma Steel. We use to be able to play on it but now it's too unsafe as said so by the city.
