A duplicate tower with another horrid parking garage?

KevinFromTexas Sep 13, 2014 4:23 AM

These look decent as twins, but the double parking garage is a abomination of urbanity.

What is that shorter building to the left?

Unfortunately. At the very least, the parking garage should be wrapped with a matching façade. In addition have street level retail.

Wow, they move fast. I didn't know they were supposed to start this early.

Ugh, attack of the Skyhouse parking deck!
Atlanta's first Skyhouse had a similar turd of a deck:

People complained so much that the second Skyhouse has a *slightly* better deck. At least it's brick and has some good retail.

I don't know if it's too late for Houston, but you should complain and see if Novare will build a better deck.

And wouldn't you know it, oil prices are headed back up. The Steelworkers need to go on strike more often.

Today's groaner was initially found by Swamplot, but later made it to the pages of the Chronic. Note the following picture of the lower floors of Skyhouse; according to the developer, there are similar exposures on the Skyhouse Main...

I am no real estate expert, but I suspect the view will cause a "big drop" in their sales.
