No need for parking? It's refreshing to see buildings without parking blobs for a base and it says a lot about the city and its residents.

What is the story on the developpment near Umeda station ??

I'm not sure which development you mean specifically. These are some proposals for the area around Osaka and Umeda stations.

Shin-Umeda Hankyu Office Building: As far as I can tell, the construction on this site has already started, but not on the building itself.

Viequ Tower Osaka, Apple Tower Osaka Tanimachi, and Sanctus Tower Shinsaibashi Milano Grande appear to have been completed.

I have updated the list with a couple new buildings, as well as added all images I could find for proposed buildings. I am interested in the Knowledge Capital Building, I like the design.

Since I am in Tokyo I can't check up on the progress of the buildings in person, so I am generally relying on the internet for my information. Because of this, it's not always the most up-to-date information, but I try. Thanks for your interest in the thread! Can I ask why you're interested in Osaka?

It's refreshing to see Osaka getting some love. This city doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Thanks for sharing the information.

This is too much look like Yokohama Landmark Tower. Maybe too much.

Doesn't the city of Osaka have a service who occupies with new developments ?

I'm not sure where to find construction pictures unfortunately, and since I don't live near Osaka I can't take any of my own. I'll see what I can do to find some.
