It doesn't look like the 2nd largest, what about Chicago? What about Miami?

What? Larger than both of those put together.

I love LA. I especially long to be there instead of freezing to death in NYC this week.

Great shots, need more though. I like seeing those secondary skylines as well. Great job.

Nice pictures! Where are those secondary skylines from, in the first two and second-last pictures?

The Grand Wilshire Center has convinced me that spires should not count towards height. After seeing Los Angeles in person and seeing the Grand Wilshire Center and US Bank Tower from a distance, the US Bank Tower is clearly taller, but gets beat by a tall stick.

Thanks. The first two pics are of Universal/Universal Studios.
The other pic, 2nd from the last pic is Burbank.

Glendale has a nice skyline too.

Part of this is also the fact that the US Bank Tower sits atop Bunker Hill, and that gives it a lot of visual height from a distance where downtown might appear to be flat.

I thought the second to last pic was Glendale?

Burbank being the first two?

I stand corrected. 2nd to last pic is indeed Glendale. The first two are Universal.

I never thought of that. Do you happen to know how much higher in elevation US Bank Tower's base is? It still doesn't seem like too much of a difference: maybe 100 feet?
