CUPERTINO, CA | Apple Park

Apple is scheduled to begin moving into its new headquarters, which some think resembles a spaceship, next month (April, 2017).

Here is new drone footage of this amazing place.

The setting, both within and without the main circular building, will ultimately be "park like" with trees, lawns and so on but there is obviously a lot of landscaping yet to do.

Well at least my 600 dollar phone, 2200 dollar desktop and 1200 dollar laptop I just bought within the past 3 months is going towards building something pretty epic.

^ I feel the same way. My household now has around ten Apple products of one kind or another. A friend of mine likened Apple to the Borg. I think it's an apt description sometimes, haha.

Either way, that new headquarters in CA is awesome. I saw them put up their offices in the Austin area during visits back and have several friends who work there. Their environments are always pretty unique and cool, I think.

What's amazing is that while that is true today (I've got 5 Macs, an iphone, an ipad, 3 airport routers, 3 Apple TVs and probably something I've forgotten) I can remember the Gil Amelio era when I owned an Apple clone and it was doubtful Apple as a company would survive (I stuck with them because my first computer was an Apple IIc and I've never been comfortable in the Windows environment even though I am forced to run Windows 10 occasionally on my Macs today).

Spaceship

In my opinion, this is the most interesting and important building being built in America today. Why isn't it getting more attention on here? I can't wait to see it next weekend.

Probably got a lot to do with the auto-oriented nature of it.

It's a round office building in the suburbs. What exactly is exciting about this project? A Apple skyscraper would have been better.

Apple Park

It's from just a round building...
Bigger than the Pentagon, a mile around, largest curved glass in world, famous architect, it's stunning, 8000 new trees...
It's a landmark. A building doesn't have to be tall to matter. This matters.
