This is the first highrise for EV, correct ?

The first new highrise in EV, yes.

This is such a prominent location from entering/exiting downtown at the east side. Will be very much in view from the 5th Ave and 4th Ave flyovers.

Kind of old news, but what the hay. Interesting read.

The pedestrian walkway that is directly adjacent to the tower in the above rendering is already about half completed.

When will the second tower go up? Is there a DP? They're both nice looking buildings.

The second tower is probably part of the same DP.

If I recall the DP was for something like 340 units, so I'm assuming it would be both towers.

The DP called for something like 550 or 600 units iirc.

Great to see this development moving forward. This looks like it is under construction,,,should it be in the construction thread?

Evolution I accidentally deleted on of my photo showing the south side of the site. They've started digging on that side.

It's under construction, but projects usually aren't moved into that thread until there is concrete being poured, or concrete work being done at the very bottom level.

Sometimes projects that are just shoring end up in the construction section, but most of the time they don't until there is a crane, or crane base.
