That moon makes Ottawa look haunted.

Has anyone seen the skyline from the champlin bridge?
C'est tellement beau!!! Check it out (and while your there, go and take a walk on the Aylmer waterfront! 10 minutes from there...)! |
Here's a shot from bate island, right by champlain br.. this was a couple of days before canada day in 2006, hence the monster flag on constitution square..
some shots from the Prince of Wales Bridge from about a year ago.. |

So the tallest building in Ottawa/Gatineau is not even in Ottawa, its Terraces de la Chaudiere in Hull. Kind of funny, and sad at the same time ain't it!?

As much as I like skyscrapers I think sometimes people on this forum jump too quickly on the idea that something taller is necessarily better and we need some 40 story building to bump our city up to the next level. I agree with that sentiment in time, but you don't want some 40-story monstrosity overtaking everything else it needs to be natural.
Looking at these pictures however, a good sized building with a nice decorative spire could really add something to our skyline. Parliament has nice caps, we need something similar on a 30ish story building |

Nice panos, last one makes Ottawa-Gatineau look big.

Don't know if shown before, but here's a huge pano looking east, by the 417 between Kanata and Moodie Drive.

Once levelled, replace Tower C with a truly landmark building that would complement the Peace Tower rather than competes with it. |
^^I got the error too, but just click his name, then you can reach it..
