I need one for Maple leaf Square, and the Cadillac Fairview, and hopefully the Hummingbird Center Tower. If anyone can help me as to where to get these files (im guessing a toronto website of some sort) then it would be ALLOT of help, becasue they show all sides and dimensions to the tower. |
no such files exist for the Cadillac Fairview tower since it has been approved since 1990
the hummingbird tower has yet to be formally submitted Maple Leaf Square http://www.urbandb.com/canada/ontari...uare-it028.pdf |

Hey guys ive started on the Maple Leaf Square South and North Tower renderings. I should have a finished rendering by this sunday because im to busy to complete it today or tommorow.
|
cant wait to see them!
|
"the south Tower is proposed at 166m abd the north tower at 154.2 m."
just remember those heights do not include the mechanical penthouses |
I was in Toronto again last week. I'm still blown away by the number of cranes in the area - they're everywhere. Are there a lot more proposed buildings for the Harborfront Centre/Queen's Quay/CN Tower area? The new construction in that area is really fascinating. What is that neighborhood called, anyway?
I was walking there on Wednesday and created a photo thread out of it. There are a crapload of photos and a cool pano from the park next to the old Steamwhistle Brewing building. Check it out if you have a chance: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=100201 |
I cant wait to see the new renderings.

The new construction below the CN Tower is called City Place. 19 new towers in total up to 60+ storeys to be completed by about 2011. Maple leaf square featuring a 48 and 52? storey tower appears to be a sure thing will go up adjacent to the air canada center. I haven't agreed to placement of all tall towers in Toronto but the size and placement of these two should really have a positive effect on the skyline. After 2010 the cities intent is to move new water front development east of yonge street.

I was just in Toronto for the weekend and stayed next to the old Maple Leaf Gardens. Just curious-any plans for it? It may be old news-just don't know. Also 1 King West looks great. TO is starting to have that skyscraper jungle effect in that area by the skydome looking like an Asian skyline. The last time I was in TO you could see the skydome while driving in-unreal development going on up there.

i heard they were turning into a grocery store?

IM just wondering...but where is Montage (City Place) in the Toronto diagram..its not there.
And also, im done the hummingbird center tower, so i thought id post it here first before submitting it. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...finalcopy3.gif |
Fantastic as usual.

West of Spadina - Cityplace Between Skydome & ACC - not yet named? Queens Quay East - most likely will adopt the name East Bayfront most of the vacant land in the areas has firm re-development plans (possibly a hundred buildings) |
Yeah, really liking the Hummingbird diagram
