I never miss a Sawtooth Boise thread! Fall in Boise looks pristine; the Boise River is such an enviable asset to the city, and those aspen trees with thier brilliant yellow foliage are almost as beautiful as New England's maples ;)
And, if I may add, screw college football, screw the BCS. Boise State should without question be playing for the Championship this year (yet again), but we all know that won't happen. What a shameful joke college football has become. |
Beautiful fall colors. Love the mix of city and nature. Great photos, thanks!

There's a lot more to see there than blue football turf. Great mix of architecture there. The poster mentions about a lot of old buildings going down in the 70s like they did most everywhere, but it looks like there are still some good ones.
The area around Boise is absolutely gorgeous. The city itself might remind one of Austin before it grew as big as it did. Thanks for sharing. I don't know if I've seen a Boise thread on here before. |
Wonderful landscape, wonderful colours! Congratulations for your pics!
I´ve enjoyed watching them! Boise, beautiful place to live in, I´m sure. Thanks a lot! Greetings from Madrid, Spain! |

WOW! You should give people nature tours. I know people that would pay big money to get to see eagles |
Some really great pictures in there. Thanks for the artistry.

Thanks Shawn. I guess it is obvious from my threads that I really love the river, it is like a wildlife corridor right in the city. I agree about the college football, I don't really pay very much attention anymore. |
Nice stuff. It looks like Boise is situated in a very nice area.
|
So Homesick now!
Thank goodness I'll be back for the BSU game next weekend!
|
Wonderful shots of Boise, fall is wonderful there. You did a nice job of capturing it.
|
Boise is just a beautiful little city, love the autumn colors for sure.
|
Gorgeous work! Boise looks like a pleasant, comfortable city, and the surrounding countryside is magnificent. Thanks for sharing these!

The people of Boise are some of the nicest people on the planet too...
Thanks again for the pics saw!! |
Sawtooth, you do an amazing job at representing this city on this forum (not to take away from anybody else). What an awesome thread that not only captivates the beauty of the city, but the nature that it holds around it. What other city of it's size has white bald Eagles and wild deer on its door step? Probably not too many!
Oh, and go Boise State Broncos. So amazing how many people recognize the blue turf. Love it or hate it, you know of it!!! And that is/was the entire goal. ;) |
Beautiful pictures Sawtooth. Boise is certainly unique.

Send them my way! A good number of eagles winter along the river in the city during winter, so they are easier to spot in the cold months moreso than summer. During summer most of them are up in the forests and mountains. |
Smashing Thread! Boise is full of wild things.
|
Great photos. Boise is such a beautiful city.
|
Very impressed! I haven't really seen any pictures of Boise before. Seems like a really cool city!
