CIBC just rudely plasters it's ugly logo on top of the elegant inscription.

Anyone else find the CIBC logo incredibly ugly?

I agree, ugly. And they could have neatly placed one of those square logos over the black spandrels and called it a day. It's not like people are that mentally challenged to know what the present day bank is.

Anyway, excellent thread.

Nice place. Some really beautiful & elegant architecture. Taylor's Furniture is a stand-out. I also love that oval building.

Very nice. I guess those chemical places made a lot of money and they spent it on fine buildings and homes.

Yes, sloppy with the bank sign. But, be glad they didn't tear down that old building for a little box with drive-thru & ATM machine.

Good Job Flar

I am still living in the Chemical Valley and you represented it well. I will try and get another Sarnia thread early this spring. Again, good job.

How is the Bayside mall holding up against cross-border shopping and big box barf?

My all time favorite title of a thread! Great photos as well.

Great bump. I've been here, in fact my first ever flight as a kid was from Windsor airport.

And Tobermory as well. Looks interesting, I dig this part of Canada.
