On Page 23 of the pdf it says the proposed height is 188ft.

Seems like a pretty big project to not include a single retail portion especially fronting the park. A cafe /restaurant space on the park could be quite nice, hopefully someone brings up this fact at the meeting.

Zoning notices up!

Cool! Just between this project, Rodin Square, and the Morman Jawn we're going to see about 850 new residential units coming on line in close proximity. That's not even including the recently completed Grainery and other small one-off projects. This neighborhood is booming!

A small drill has showed up on site.

My hope: Cultural and educational destinations (PMA, Barnes, Rodin, CCP, Fairmount Park) + Existing density (2601 Parkway, Philadelphian, Parkway House, Cityview Towers, Tivoli, The Granery, Park Towne Place) + Proposed density (Museum II + Rodin Square + Mormon Tower + 18th & Callowhill) = SEPTA City Branch light rail service

Would love this! (or a PATCO Loop)
Keep any Rail Park us at grade or elevated.

Anyone know if a retail component has been added yet? Another Vetri restaurant with outdoor seating facing the park would be amazing...

These are my own fantasy ideas for a light rail line or set of them - uses a lot a dedicated row except most of the market and federal/elsworth portions

Uses the Pennsy cut and an extension out along both sides of fairmont. Also connects 30th street U city and new developments

With spurs to CH West and the Bala regional lines - to me they could also extent the Norriston RR line and use this as the KOP connector as well

Just some thoughts

No... That ugly building is already there. It doesn't look quite as wide in real life though. But it does look uglier!

Forest City closes three investment allocations from fund formed with the Arizona State Retirement System

"Forest City Enterprises Inc. (NYSE: FCEA, FCEB) said it has closed three additional investment allocations in its apartment communities and planned developments from a previously announced fund it has formed with the Arizona State Retirement System.

The projects are in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Oakland, Calif. The Cleveland-based real estate developer and operator did not disclose specific dollar figures for the fund in the properties and projects of multimillion-dollar scale.

In Philadelphia, the fund closed an investment in the 286-suite Museum Towers, in which Forest City had been the sole owner. The fund is expected to close an additional investment in Philadelphia the first quarter of this year that Forest City said will aid imminent development of Museum Towers II, an adjoining 286-unit apartment project and 400-space parking garage."

According to a user on PhiladelphiaSpeaks, the parking lot will be vacated tomorrow (Jan 31) in preparation for construction.

Initial occupancy targeted for late Summer 2016 with overall project completion in Fall....
