Hopefully this breaks ground this summer. It's going to be busy south of 104th for the next few years.

I just realized that there's a pretty decent elevation change from the south end of Georgetown near 102 Ave and the north side, at the current Canadian Tire.
Will they have to readjust the elevation for the towers on that CT site, or will they keep Whalley Blvd. as an elevated road? |
Anybody have the project number for this development? Never mind found it.

That render is so dumb. What is with all the trees even on top of the building. Seriously, I can see a manager yelling at the graphic artist "MORE TREES PEOPLE WANT MORE TREES!!!!!"
Ugh. This is in the HEART of Surrey, render should be urban and look urban, not like it is in the middle of Green Timbers Park. Even the shadows are all wrong. Terrible. *sigh* marketers. |

i know that but this render cannot be for this project as it shows skytrain practically running through this development. Its not possibly this open and visible at all. there is a solid block of crap between king george and where the skytrain is.

I'm guessing they will have to tear down the Canadian Tire and Save On Foods to build this project?

I believe this part of the project is closer to where A&W is. A future phase will be wear the saveon / canadian tire currently sit

The guess is that it'll be phased so that the Save-on-Foods can more into the large 2nd floor retail space.

I wonder if Save on Foods will move to King George Hub when completed?
