The Capitol view corridor determination that was filed. Half the block is affected by a corridor. This is the reason for the triangular shape of the tower.

A slight increase in height by measuring from south side of the lot at 6th Street. This would put the height at 872 feet 3/4 inches tall, or 873 feet if you round up.

The Austin American-Statesman picked it up. This quotes the developer as saying that the tower might even grow from 62 floors to "the mid-70s range".

Normally, new tallests should demand an excellent caliber of detail, and this passes the test. Worthy of a new leader in the rankings. As always, may it act as a catalyst for future growth. :)

Yeah thats definitely a solid supertall. Probably 300m exact or close to it +/- 20m.

This says they plan to file a site plan soon and start construction within a year and have it delivered within 4 years.

Unbelievable! As an Austin native, I never thought I'd see this day (much less the day any building exceeded the height of One American Center - 400').

Looks like they're preserving the historic house on the block as well.
