For those not familiar with this project, it's located in Uptown on Post Oak Blvd.

Nice looking project, but the name, not so much.
|
I like it. Will go great in the area. Fancy...
|
This does look nice.....just wish there were more proposals for condos downtown!

Actually, the office tower is 20 stories but the tallest structure will be a high end hotel/condo combination. I believe that one will be 30 stories tall.
|
Looks nice. It sort of has a Uptown Dallas look to it, like it belongs in Victory Park (not a bad thing).

Looks good. Vaguely reminds me of Old Orchard Woods outside of Chicago:

Hope you guys don't mind me resurrecting a pretty dead thread, but I have an update on this.
I live across the street and down about a hundred or so yards from the site, and in the mail today I received a Notice of Variance Request, apparently because I fall within "the Chapter 42 required notification area". From what I can gather through the bureaucratic jargon, Terra surveying Company has asked for a one foot building line along Post Oak while the ordinance requires a 25 foot building line. It references the area as "Perennial on Post Oak Subdivision". The details of all of this are not really my interest. What I really care about is that things are actually moving to get this thing built! |
Well that is good news.

The text being slanted wasn't me, it actually came from the city like that. And on the map page, the small text is impossible to read in person as well. |
The Perennial located in Uptown in Post Oak Blvd in Houston will be really something look forward to, and I am really impressed by the two towers standing side by side – looks majestic!! The condos in tem must be really luxurious with all the ultra modern facilities and a lot of other facilities as well!!

BBVA Compass has announced that they will lease the top 6 floors of the 20 story office tower. The office tower is due to break ground in May according to the Houston Chronicle. Not sure if the entire project is a go or if just the office component will rise...
