I wish the height were a little more though this will provide some good density into the central core. Very interested to see the final design.

Like I said the design is not final so the height is subject to change... I've heard rumors of 25 floors, 27 floors, 30 floors, 35 floors and 37 floors.... so it could really be anything at this point. If IBX takes any office space in the new building that will add at least 5-10 floors to it. So maybe 37 floors is not so far off.

Please, Build this taller. Please! Market street should be a canyon of tall buildings only.

I am not suprised by the Exton sale. Brandywine stated at their June investors conference that they would be selling some of their suburban portfolio in order focus more on Philadelphia and the inner ring suburbs.

The article posted by Skyscraperguru claims that there will be 25 floors of residential a possible 4 or 5 floors of retail and possible office space.

The hope is there will be 5 floors of retail, 10 floors of office space for Independence Blue Cross and 25 floors of residential for a total of 40 floors. With todays LEED Certification standards, 40 floors could easily reach 600 feet.

No, that is the old proposal from 2006ish when Opus Realty owned the lot. The lot has since been sold to Brandywine Realty.

This is a new proposal by Brandywine.

It's official, this will be 34 floors. Can a mod change the title?

It is looking like 2 floors of retail, 7 floors of office space and 25 floors of residential units.

Across the street at 1919 Market, where Brandywine Realty Trust is proposing a 34-story mixed-use tower, about 30,000 square feet has tentatively been proposed for retail.

That would put this in the 400-500 ft range?

It's looking like about the 440 foot range.

That would make it the 19th tallest building in the city

As long as it hides the hideousness that is Penn Center House, I'm all in.

:previous: Zoning notices went up. Claims retail, parking and 22 floors of residential... doesn't mention official height or the mention of any office space. Guess we'll see shortly.
