Order of working on requests
 

Why is it not standard, that in the section http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/forumdisplay.php?f=29 oldest requests are first worked off?
In my opinion this is the best way, as links valid when made the request, may not be valid any more after some time. Newer requests should only have priority, if one of the source links may expire soon, which is e.g. true, when Swisstopo ( https://map.geo.admin.ch/?topic=avia...2820.00&zoom=5 ) is used as source.

The editors are all volunteers, and some of us only feel comfortable adding buildings or editing them if they're located within a geographic area with which we are familiar.

If the editors are all volunteers, can I be an editor? I can help with any request (always checking first), because this process is very slow and I have lots of requests to do.
