I thought Canal Crossing was adding an additional floor? Those pictures do not seem to show that is happening?

The location of the parking garage is unfortunate, the out-parcels should be reserved for future medical/research office buildings. The garage should be located in the center of the site IMO.
The garage located across the street on Tulane doesn't even look used... |

Seems like they could have explored adding floors to an existing garage first, if it's engineered for it. I do hope they can keep at least a block or two of green space, the area sorely needs it.
I would like to see LSU sell off those surface lots along Poydras and have someone put in apartments. Maybe a new garage would help that happen. |
