Major League Skyscrapers
Can't argue with that.
Toronto is one of my favorite cities that I've never been to.
Sick thread. Too bad the Jays don't stand a chance in the AL East...GO SOX |
gorgeous pics... I wish there were more Canadian MLB teams...
and I demand the Blue Jays return to their real uniforms... since when was black ever part of their colour scheme???? http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2130/...018a52a6a7.jpg |
Fantastic photos, wow!
LOL @ Ernie Whitt's facial expression.
Great work Flar. Toronto has a world class collection of glass skyscrapers. Ya gotta love it. |
 go cubs!
Spectacular.
Nice pictures. You need to do more Toronto threads.
Too many pictures of the Cubs and their fans, though. I would've preferred a hometown bias. I noticed that you took a picture of Kevin Mench sliding into third. He grew up in the Newark area, about 5 or 10 minutes from where I am. So, there's a Delaware connection in your thread. |
Major League indeed, thanks!
Nice shots, though a Toronto FC game would've fit the title better.
what is Toronto FC???
MLS. Major League Soccer, or Major League Skyscrapers.
Great pics.......Haven't seen near enough of Toronto, but I have a couple other cities memorized.
Calgary? :haha:
Nice creative pictures, major league thread.
ever considered a career in sport photography? that shot of mench sliding into third was wicked.

I think black's part of almost every team's colour scheme now. The Jays wear the old powder blue uniforms on flashback fridays: http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com/al/torjays/Stieb.jpg ^^Dave Steib xzmattzx: Cubs fans were out in force all weekend. A lot of them made the trip from Chicago, but there are Cubs fans everywhere. The first baseball pic shows Reed Johnson at bat. He was well liked by the fans but cut by the Jays at the beginning of the season. He got his revenge with a three run homer on Saturday. Quote:

I remember nearly all of these spots from my Toronto visit. I kinda wish I had attended a baseball game while there as well, as I've never seen one (not even on TV).
Great shots as usual, flar! |
Incredible photos of both the game and around Toronto
