Here's a few more photos of the L-Dot and surrounding area. The air photos were taken by a friend of mine.

These are in no order. I find that mixing them up nice and random makes it more interesting. :haha:

thanks for the great collection of new pics.

Awesome photos. One question - where is that "London's Metro" photo located? I know it's not Ilderton, Poplar Hill, Delaware, or Komoka.

Is it somewhere in Elgin County?

haljackey Nov 23, 2010 3:17 AM

:previous:

To be honest, I have no idea. I'm going to assume somewhere near the Middlesex/Elgin county line.

Simpseatles Nov 23, 2010 11:46 PM

After much time painstakingly going back and forth between google maps, and this website I figured it out!!!

It is Union, a village south of St. Thomas in Elgin County. The road down the middle is Sparta Line heading East, and in the centre is the intersection with Sunset Rd. that goes south (right) to Port Stanly, and north (left)to St. Thomas.

Any reward for my efforts?:jester:

Damn does that picture of Victoria Park in winter ever make London look desolate.

Speaking of Victoria Park, Lighting of the Lights is this Friday. :)

I agree with you 100%. I think they were changed last year. Not sure why they decided to change it though.

The blue roofs look ok but pink was so much better... plus it went with the window tints on the buildings.
