PHILADELPHIA: City Hall tower tour and more

I lived in Baltimore for five years and to my shame never visited Philadelphia. I rectified that last spring.

I debated whether or not to post these pics as I didn't get far off the tourist track so there's not much new to see here. However, I did take a City Hall tower tour which I enjoyed for the great views. It was great having a private tour for me and my family since only four people can go up at a time!

1. Arrival

2. City Hall

3. Comcast Center from City Hall

4. View to the south along S. Broad Street

5. Benjamin Franklin Bridge and NJ to the east

6. View to the north along N. Broad Street

7. Comcast Center and Museum Mile

8. View to the west

Beautiful thread and shots, jeremai! Thanks for sharing.

I like very much Philadelphia. It must be, I´ve never been there, a very pretty city. I´d like to visit it.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Your delay in visiting Philly is now our reward. Wonderful pics jeremai. I gotta say that pic of the subway station sure looks different from the platforms I remember from the mid 70s. Good stuff, thanks.

Awesome. I've been to Philadelphia a number of times and have yet to go up in the City Hall tower. Gonna have to make it up next time I'm in town.

It looks like you had an enjoyable time in Philly. And I hope you got a taste of a real cheesesteak.

Awesome architecture! I'd love to visit! I have to say though, being from Chicago and seeing lots of Chicago vs Philadelphia stuff lately, how on earth can people compare the two? Chicago's way bigger. Or at least it looks that way from the photos...could be wrong. Also, the history in Philadelphia is amazing. I wish we had that
