That skywalk seems unnecessary.

Yeah. Use the crosswalk.

Website is up and the rendering shown appears to have the development without the pedestrian bridge over Allen Parkway. Meanwhile, a few new renderings are up with some previously seen ones - c/o BOGZA http://www.bogza.com/wp-content/uplo...n_Cam1_Web.jpg http://www.bogza.com/wp-content/uplo...am9_122617.jpg http://www.bogza.com/wp-content/uplo...m10_101717.jpg http://www.bogza.com/wp-content/uplo...am3_101717.jpg http://www.bogza.com/wp-content/uplo...2-2_101717.jpg http://www.bogza.com/wp-content/uplo...am1_101217.jpg http://www.bogza.com/wp-content/uplo...am1_101217.jpg http://www.bogza.com/wp-content/uplo...1-2_101217.jpg |
In the aerial shot, there appear to be 3 lots directly "behind" this project that are ripe for development. Anything doing on those lots?

The site itself is hemmed in pretty well. To the north is Allen Parkway & Buffalo Bayou Park. Directly east is the Historic Oaks of Allen Parkway Village, a public housing development on the National Register of Historic Places. To the south, directly behind the proposed site, is the Tinsley on The Park apartments, completed in the past year. A block to the west is the Federal Reserve Bank and the Ashton on West Dallas apartments. |
^ Thank you!

^ It's lost a lot of its chutzpah. And height.

I like Dallas, but I think that Houston is the best of the big three cities in Texas. It has the best climate. It's greener than Dallas, which is a bit of a dust bowl. Houston also has the best architecture by far. Austin, by contrast, has a lot of lame boxes, and it's adding more. Austin is a nice city, but its buildings stink.
