Skyline may discount for would-be buyers elsewhere South Florida Business Journal - 8:28 AM EDT Tuesday People who have seen developers cancel their condominium contracts or reservations aren't entirely out of luck. Skyline at Mary Brickell Village has said it plans to waive the developer fee on purchases from people with the cancelled paperwork. To be eligible for the discount at the Miami development, buyers must bring in proof of their cancelled, executed purchase contract or proof of reservation with another development. The Skyline at Mary Brickell Village condominium is to be at 900 S.W. First Ave. A 35-story building is to hold 369 residences and a 40,000-square-foot pool and recreation deck. Developers have said they expects to complete construction at the site in the second quarter 2008. |

Terrazas breaks ground near Miami River South Florida Business Journal - 3:02 PM EDT Thursday Terrazas International Group broke ground Wednesday on its Terrazas River Park Village project. The two-tower, 324-unit development is next to E.G. Sewell Park, along the Miami River. The project is slated for completion in late 2007. The site, at 1861 N.W. South River Drive, was the former home to a mental institution. Dodge Hospital was closed December 2001 and the property was purchased in November 2002 for $4 million. Units are priced from $300,000 and the developers are targeting sales to workers in the nearby Civic Center area of Miami. More than 30,000 work at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Jackson Memorial Hospital, government offices and other institutions. Terrazas International Group is a joint venture of BA Investment Group, headed by Fernandez Prieto; Julio Comparada; and B Developments, led by Miguel Angel Barbagallo. |
Logik/ ice office tower,claims to be 80% occupied, stated the developer at a zoning meeting. I wonder who the tenant is?

Anyone know when Met 3 is breaking ground? Emporis claims it's been under construction for 2 years now. I drove by the other day and it's still a parking lot!
