I think it goes without saying that this is the best Saskatoon thread I've ever seen.

^ Yup. Awesome job!

Absolutely stellar photos, Echoes. You have captured the essence and charm of this great prairie, river city.
Kudos. |
I was pleasantly surprised to see that much streetlife and park activity. Can't wait for part 2.
Saskatoon looks great! Don't think I've seen it in anywhere near this level of depth before. I love a nice urban surprise.
Yeah, Saskatoon's a decent town. Cheers for the tour.
Great set! I've passed through Saskatoon more times than I can count (my grandparents lived in Yorkton), but sadly have spent very little time in the city itself, and almost no time downtown.
Great thread! The only thing missing is your own CFL team. That would be quite the rivalry :-)
Really nice portfolio of images for this "paris of the prairies" (quote from Tragically Hip song)...haha
I especially appreciate your close up pics of some of the historic buildings in toon town and also the use of our public spaces. For those that do not know Saskatoon, your upcoming pics of our campus (university of saskatchewan) will come as a pleasant surprise, I am sure! |
Awesome body of work! Makes me somewhat nostalgic as I don't get back very often anymore. Maybe this fall will be a good time for a road trip!
Nice shots! Thanks for sharing, Echoes.
I´d like to visit Saskatoon. I´ve always thought about this. It´s a reference for me for winter and very cold weather, which I love it. I like the parks and green areas. I suppose summer there must be very pleasant and full of life. Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain! |
Nice looking little city! Thanks for sharing.
Very nice, thanks for showing us the city in some detail. I was there once, and was most impressed, as shown by your photos, by the river views, the hotel, and many of the historic buildings, for a city of it's size; the future looks good.
Saskatchatoon sure has some great architecture.
Great tour. I really do need to make the short trek east for a visit.
A very nice medium sized gem in Prairies.
Very healthy looking city. Never been there, but hope to visit it one of these years...
I was actually expecting more photos of the hotel. And you're right, it is a gem! Are the classic Canadian Railroad hotels still linked together somehow, or are most of them independantly owned? |
Great effort. Trying to figure out what you missed. Hmmm.....
