Great work koops. wish i could say you're going down but.. i've just been too lazy
|
Thanks... you should get back into it too. Honestly, when the diagram section was down I became pretty lazy myself, but now that it's back I'm right back into drawing again.

Koops, your drawings are great!
Can you identify these buildings? Their information is missing from the database. 1. Toronto building - http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=74643 http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/images/52579.gif 2. Proposed building, is it in Kitchener or Waterloo? - http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=79655 http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/images/53634.gif |
:previous:
1. 199 Richmond 2. 247 King St. N (Waterloo) |
my latest drawing: Shangri-La Toronto, 212.7 M roof, 214 M spire

Excellent ^^ *says goodbye to his* lol that's a really good drawing good job!!
EDIT: how long did the drawing take you to draw? just curious my 4:1 drawings usually take me 2 - 3 hours |
Thanks. I found a super-sized render that really helped. It's hard to say because I've been working on it on-and-off for a few months now, since before the diagram section went down. Probably 20 or 25 hours altogether. Next I plan to work on the Ritz.

wow koops that's an incredible drawing!!

Koops has a fan club!!!!! :D ... Count me in!!!!! AWESOME diagram contributions to skyscraperpage!!!!!! U ROCK KOOPS :worship: |
Good stuff. Good to see you're still plugging away. I haven't really been paying any attention to the diagrams being quite busy with other things.

Thanks Bob, I'm going to assume you're responsible for all the changes to the Toronto database I've noticed lately, including some new tall buildings like 44 Eglinton W and a severe reduction in the height of Market Wharf? What Happened to 306 Richmond?
|
199 Richmond has a new design and I'm hoping a new rendering comes out soon

koops, why don't you finish off the other Absolute World tower?? --> http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?searchID=44892022
|
Because I'm not at all impressed by the first one. It's one of my earliest drawings, done in basic MS paint. And now that the height has been revised upwards by a fair amount it needs to be re-made also. I'll get around to doing both soon enough, and its nice they're under constuction now so I can see what they really look like instead of looking at just renders.

Here are my latest drawings, uploaded since Oct. 13:
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2510/...3a3f3c42_o.jpg Not much for 57 days... only 4 new buildings and 5 modifications. I did not include Dubai Pearl since I'm not happy with how it turned out, needs to be tweaked some more... and the fact that it totally dwarfs these buildings. It's probably bigger than all of them put together! |
