My pitch for the Ren Cen:

- demolish and/or renovate the two riverfront office towers into residential instead

- keep the two inland office towers

- keep the hotel tower, but add an observation deck at or near the top

- add a City Target and/or grocery store to the bottom to serve residents, plus dining and other retail will return

- rebuild the Wintergarden area into a waterfront aquarium the Detroit Zoo talked about doing a few years ago

- add a gondola crossing to Windsor for pedestrian transport and scenic views, connect it with Caesars maybe?

- redevelop the parking lots into a mixed use district with riverwalk dining and plenty of housing
