I see that it's the 1 year anniversary of this thread...I had a few more ideas pop in to my head last week, so it's a good time to list them.
I remember a couple of restaurants opening up in the mid-80's called Mother's Restaurant, and they had a lounge side called Father's Lounge. Some of this is a bit foggy but I recall one location was Park Street at Victoria Avenue...and the other one at Albert and 5th Avenue north. I don't think they lasted that long under that name...and then they may have both become Bonny and Clyde's locations. Does that sound right?

I do know that Albert and 5th housed the Luxembourg Pub for awhile (early 90's) and then it was transformed (in the Dave Dunn tradition) to the Last Straw Pub around '94 or '95...going strong ever since.

As for Park and Vic, Moxie's moved in there around '88 or '89 and had a long run...a brief stint as Mano's about 3 years ago...and now Bocado's for the last couple of years (very good food there BTW).

Any differing memories...feel free to correct!
