Seriously, it seems that there is a very positive spirit in the city nowadays. The mayor is really proactive and many projects are flourishing.
By the way, your examples are great and I suppose they are situated in Thunder Bay? I especially like the police station.
Here is another example in Quebec. This is the Saint-Esprit church, built in 1931. Like almost every single church in Quebec, the attendance was abismal so it closed. It was reopened in 2002 as the new Circus School of Quebec.
