First Canadian, yes. First Canadian National Team player, no. Will let the individual be the judge on what's more important but for me representing your country > the passport you happen to have, so Davies' accomplishment is far more significant in my mind.
Whitecaps as usual will probably squander the spoils of their dividend payout here.
