Contracts for local firms at $64 million; supplier bids up next

As Electrolux Home Products’ 700,000-square-foot manufacturing facility gets closer to completion, the company is beginning the process of awarding equipment contracts while planning the search for suppliers. Electrolux North America chief executive Jack Truong told a group at a Greater Memphis Chamber luncheon earlier this month that the company’s goal is to have the facility completed by the end of 2012.
