Landscape Immersion

Landscaper Immersion, was developed at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle in the late 70's.

Inside-Out Cage is a really fascinating story told on NPR about how zoo director David Hancocks, architect Grant Jones, and gorilla keeper Violet Sunde came up with the idea.

It was basically a real shot in the dark, and most experts thought it would drive the gorillas crazy.
