The location from a development perspective; would be great because it's not in a viewplane (the police station is). Unfortunately; HbD limits the height to 23m (pre and post bonus height). But still; could get a nice building there. |
I think the lease on that building is almost up. I forget how it works, I know they rent it from the Red Cross and the Canada Blood Services lease is for sure up next year, but I think the Red Cross's might be too. I read an article a week or so ago that made it sound like that site was up for re-development either way.
