Charlotte's 9.3 mile long Blue Line extension is scheduled to open for service March 16th, 2018 - just in time for the first and second round games of the NCAA tournament.
Originally CATS had hoped to finish the line my August 2017 but it had to be pushed back. Still, it was able to be completed under budget.
