The almost complete lack of transit to anywhere in Kanata west of Terry Fox Drive is a serious issue that better be rectified soon with all this development. Currently the Tanger site has no transit at all. I suppose there is the 96A across the highway, but that's rather far away, and most importantly it only comes every 30 minutes and is therefore next-to-useless.

Frequencies are a serious issue right now, unless you're taking the Transitway at peak periods they're atrocious. What we need is a "10 minutes or better all day" service guarantee on all transitway routes (except perhaps the 93, at least until the Kanata North BRT opens), and on the major local routes (1, 12, 85, 118, maybe a few others).

How about we replace the buses on low-volume suburban local routes with minibuses. The operational savings can be invested in building this 10-minute frequency network. The LRT savings after 2018 can also be invested in this.
