If you read my post, I never said I didn't believe you. I just don't believe there would be the clarity of the towers as the google image suggests. But you'd certainly see something on the horizon. Chicago towers are faintly visible across Lake Michigan...50 miles away. During certain atmospheric conditions visibility can increase.

It would be cool to see the photo you were able to get though.
