Keep in mind this list is best beach CITIES, not best beaches.
Vancouver, whether you like Northern Pacific sand/water or not, has a plethora of beaches that are a major part of city life. Kits Beach, Second/Third beach in Stanley Park, English Bay, Sunset Beach, Spanish Banks, Jericho beach, Wreck Beach - all of these areas are packed in the summer months, 7 days a week. No matter where you are in the Vancouver, you're never more than 15 minutes away from a beach access.
