I haven't been back to Champaign since about 2006, the amount of development is really amazing. Huge density increase. Some of those designs tho... wow. I know quality architecture is not a high priority for student housing developers, but man some of those things are really ugly.

From a skyline perspective, Champaign really hits above its weight as based on population. Probably has more taller buildings than larger cities like Peoria and maybe even Springfield, just that the skyline is fractured between downtown and Campustown.
