My experience in Havana was a great pleasure. Insane nightlife, great friendly and educated people,beautiful architecture, cool art deco high rises.
My experience staying in a casa was also superb. this thread takes me back!
On a side note: people in Havana are obsessed with film. I went to a movie theatre that was showing non-stop French, Russian and Italian films in their original language with Spanish subtitles and the 2000 seat theatre was almost full at every screening. Also just cost the equivalent of a dollar Canadian.
