Urbania 2 Coming to Laval's New Downtown

Thanks to the opening of Montreal Metro's extension of the Orange line in 2007, Laval is witnessing a boost in urban development focused around the terminal Montmorency station. Developers Société de développement Urbania 2003 and Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ own several plots of land in the area and are currently in the process of building a six-tower complex on a city block delineated by Rue Émile-Martineau, rue Lucien-Pavement, boulevard le Corbusier and rue Jaques-Tetreault. Designed by Giasson Farragut Architectes, the first tower of the development officially broke ground at the end of November.
