......New York-based Drive Shack would build its Bucktown driving range northeast of the reconfigured intersection of Damen, Elston and Fullerton avenues. Though most of the development would consist of open space, it would also include a three-story 71,000-square-foot building along Damen Avenue with heated hitting bays, and 337 parking spaces, according to the zoning application. Golfers would drive to the southwest, with 170-foot-tall fences on each side containing errant balls. The project would also include a riverwalk extending from Fullerton to Damen......

Vienna moved its factory to the South Side a few years ago, as the city rerouted Elston Avenue, splitting the company’s property in two. Chik-Fil-A and Panera Bread plan to open restaurants on a the slice of land Vienna owns between Elston and Fullerton avenues.
