It's also raining inside the Taipei Tennis Center, which cost 2 billion NTD to build and that doesn't prevent the basement, parking lot and even the courts from being flooded. Many worry that the leaking and flooding may become an international embarrassment if the games coincide with a typhoon season.

The Formosa Cup ITF tennis tournament is a test event for the Taipei Summer Universiade. Players from all over the world gathered at the Taipei Tennis Center. However, due to the heavy rain of the past week, the indoor stadium actually started to leak which was an embarrassment to the international tournament.

It's supposed to be an international event venue, but if it's leaking, the players may refuse to compete there, they could get injured, so I think we need to move quickly on this and tighten things up.

Rainwater was leaking from the indoor stadium roof, although it was not a heavy leak, this is an international-standard venue which cost nearly NT$2 billion. The underground parking lot has many water leaks and the ground is covered with water. Taipei City North District Project Office Dept. of Rapid Transport Systems said that repair has started immediately, and the venue will improve before the Summer Universiade starts.

The gutter drainage is normal height, but when it comes to heavier rain, the water overflows to the joints, where the junctions are, so we found that we have to strengthen the junctions there.

The DORTS North Dist. Project Office said the completion of the venue is scheduled for after July. As this has been discovered now in the project inspection period, it will immediately report to the contractors so that they can remedy this before the Universiade officially starts.

耗資近20億的世大台北網球中心，在連日豪雨期間，竟然出現多處漏水情況！台北市議員謝維洲，日前接獲民眾爆料，前往勘查，不僅發現網球中心地下停車場，出現漏水情況，就連室內的比賽場地，也有滲漏、滴水情形．世大運將在8月19號登場，如果遇到颱風季又漏水，恐將成為國際笑話．

雨水沿著室內賽場屋頂，不停落下，雖是小水滴，但畢竟這是砸了近20億蓋的國際級場館，室內球場的品質卻是如此，甚至連地下停車場，也多處漏水，地面到處是積水！北市捷運局北工處表示，目前已立即處理，世大運開賽前一定會改善．

北市捷運局北工處表示，場館完工，時間點落在七月以後，目前漏水情況，是發生在工程驗收前，會立即反映廠商改善，並強調驗收前，會反覆檢視漏水情況，同時承諾世大運正式開賽，決不會讓漏水情況再發生．
