Family moved out west when I was 4. My family has been slowly bleeding out of Illinois since the 1970's to California, Las Vegas and Arizona. A couple ended up down in Dallas, and one in NYC
As of this writing only a couple of Cousins remain in the old country.
Of course we weren't there for very long, my whole family moved from Poland between the wars. Somebody obviously saw the writing on the wall
