CITYPLACE - CONCORD ADEX - PARADE CONDOS

The CityPlace neighbourhood being developed by Concord Adex on downtown Toronto's former railway lands continues to grow with Parade, the project's largest phase. Parade features four towers rising from two U-shaped podiums, encircling a central courtyard. Parade's eastern half was topped off in 2010, while construction continues on the western half currently. UrbanToronto members are particularly anticipating the west half's rise for two reasons: the cylindrical tower, rare in Toronto, and especially, the skybridge.

The skybridge will join the two tallest towers at the 28th and 29th levels. The top level will feature premium residences, while the lower level will feature exclusive amenity space. As seen above, the bridge is seven storeys shy of the top of the towers, while in actuality the towers have since had floors added: the east tower is 38 storeys high, and the west will be 43 storeys (both plus one mechanical topping the towers). The shorter towers at the southeast and southwest corners are 18 and 22 storeys respectively, while the podiums are 9 storeys high. Updated renderings with the new heights have not been released.
Here's another rendering of the whole complex, face-on. Parade is designed by New York-based giant Kohn Pedersen Fox Architects.
