Reminds me a bit of Ottawa having Jo-Anne Polak as their GM back in the late 80s/early 90s or thereabouts. I think she was still in her 20s when she got that job. |
That is part of the reason why the Rough Riders stunk for so long. Jo-Anne Polak was a wonderful person, but what did she know about the football business and selecting and signing players? I remember her being very personable and she was quite aggressive with Ottawa city politicians.
