The traffic is only that bad because of all of the hotel, rent a car, flyaway, and various other shuttles coming in and out. Once those are gone traffic will be much lighter. Just look at the picture and notice how much space and time those shuttles are taking up.

SFO and LAX are built very similarly and it is a great example of this. Since the SFO people mover was constructed along with their consolidated RAC facilities traffic is very light in their loop. Let’s actually look forward to a lightly trafficked loop
