It would have been interesting to see a joint bid between Harrisburg-Lancaster-York. Such a proposal could have been the impetus behind reviving the discussion behind a new iteration of Corridor One or in general regional infrastructure improvements. The joint bid itself would have been a good exercise of regional planning and cooperation despite having long-shot odds. It was somewhat amusing to see Lisa Riggs, president of the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County, eschewing Harrisburg's bid and instead writing in support of Philadelphia's bid.
