Developers tend to be very ambitious with their plans. I suspect we'll ultimately see something drastically scaled back from that rendering.
In regards to the hotel? They originally had plans to start construction in the spring 2017. I can't find one article about the hotel's construction. Other than when they announced their plans late January of 2017. Odd.
