A big reason for that is the fact that its 2 largest cities are located right on the St. Lawrence, and in BC the largest city is in a harbour/peninsula.

I'm willing to bet if Toronto and Hamilton were located on major rivers instead of against a great lake they would have large beautiful suspension bridges and whatnot as well.

That being said I would absolutely add the Prince Edward Viaduct to Canada's greatest bridges list.
