Well, they drop-kicked the Statue of Liberty and took out the Brooklyn Bridge too, which I thought was more disturbing. In fact, the Brooklyn Bridge gets more than its fair share of destruction in New York films. But there are many buildings in Manhattan that you could tolerate being obliterated (on film) far more than the Woolworth.
