Woof. There are a dozen ways to achieve the goals they set, without pulling back from the street and not covering up that big blank sidewall. There's an alley right there, why not flip the building, push out on the west, cut in on the east, give that rooftop garden some light and air.
Is it a thing now that architects deliberately avoid blending in with the neighboring buildings?
